Remembrance Day

This year, Remembrance Day takes place on Thursday, November 11th, 2021. For those in the area, an outdoor service will be held at the Pointe au Baril Georgian Cliffs Memorial Park Cemetery at 11 am. The service will be hosted by Lynne Barron of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #591 Britt. We ask that anyone attending to wear face masks and do their best to follow pandemic protocols including physically distancing.
If you are unable to attend a ceremony in person this year, the National Remembrance Day Service Ceremony in Ottawa will be broadcasted on National Canadian news networks and streamed live on The Royal Canadian Legion - National Headquarters Facebook page.
The Township of The Archipelago office will remain open on the 11th and will continue to operate as usual to support the community.
